Just happens!

1900s: à La Française...

Looking into my photography collection I realize that one of the oldest, yet romantic and fashionable ones, lay on a Parisian background. How come that in that time most of the photographers were inspire by l'amour and in la vie en rose soulement?

I know that Paris gives you the right atmosphere for mixing the romanticism with a delightful taste of trend and à la mode, and still remains to be one of the top locations for photographers.

At the beginning of the early 1900's, many Fashion houses, such as Chanel or Dior, tend to portrait their collections in a oh la la sense, brimming the very francais essence of its clothes, of its nature, of where they came from, of what their designers and creators believe in.

Photographers, such as Jaques Boucher or Mark Shaw, captured amazing shots during that time, helping these renowned brands to become famous and prestigious.

Above I share with you three images I really like, for its angle, for what emerges from each, and for all the consistency in just a frame.

A Voyage Through Out The Lens...

During the past days I've been experiencing lots of photographic moments, from the not so professional ones to the very "wannabe" expertise photos shoots that famous photographers do. You might be thinking,  what is Mariana talking about? And I might said that, inspired by the trip I took a couple of days ago I experienced some of the most enjoyable moments in my life, full of fun, friends, sharing, laughs, and of course, PHOTOGRAPHY!!!

I went to the Bahamas with a group of friends, and every single moment we wanted to capture it through the lens! That made me realize how important is to freeze the moment in a squared digital format to remember of the pleasant time we had.

My point is to highlight the greatness of photography, not only for the artistic and impact it has on the eye of who is watching them, the greatness come from something deeper, something emotional and that will remain on our minds and heart for a true lifetime. Thanks to photography we share, we laugh, we make fun of ourselves, we reconstruct, we relive, we remember, and we enjoy... How come that this is one of the few things that are so gratifying to the photographer? And absolutely more gratifying for the ones involve in the process of framing a time of their lives.

Here I want to share one of the very cool moments we just had...
